ABB industrial robot
The IRB 120, launched in September 2009 by ABB Robotics, is the smallest and fastest six-axis robot. It was the first robot independently developed by the ABB (China) robotics R&D team.
ABB launched its smallest multi-purpose industrial robot to date—the compact, agile, and lightweight six-axis IRB 120. Weighing only 25kg, it has a payload of 3kg (4kg with vertical wrist) and a reach of 580mm.
Despite its significantly smaller size, the IRB 120 retains all the functions and technologies of the series, creating favorable conditions for reducing the footprint of robot workstations. Its compact size and lightweight design contribute to the IRB 120's excellent economy and reliability, offering low investment and high output advantages.
The IRB 120 has a maximum working stroke of 411mm and a pick-up distance of 112mm below the base. It is widely used in electronics, food and beverage, machinery, solar energy, pharmaceuticals, medical, and research fields.
To reduce space occupancy, the IRB 120 can be mounted at any angle inside a workstation, above machinery, or near other robots on a production line. The extremely small turning radius of the robot's first axis further helps to shorten the distance to other equipment.
The IRB6640 is a new generation of robots in the robot family, a high-productivity robot product suitable for various applications.
High production efficiency, compact design, and simple maintenance make the IRB6640 a robot applicable to various fields!
A longer upper arm with various wrist forms allows the IRB6640 to adapt to various processes.
The arm can bend back to the bottom, greatly expanding the working range.
The IRB 6650S robot has a unique work envelope, allowing for full vertical and horizontal movement, and a longer reach in the front and lower areas, further enriching the robot's capabilities in numerous applications.
The IRB 6650S has been improved in terms of viscosity and speed, and can handle extra-large plates, such as entire car body sidewalls. The increased work envelope allows the robot to fully retract from the press even when carrying large fixtures and parts. Excellent acceleration performance, combined with unique horizontal and vertical strokes, significantly reduces the cycle time of the IRB6650S.
The ABB IRB 6700 robot series is the result of over 40 years of technological advancements in ABB's large robots. As the latest generation of technologically advanced products, the seventh generation of large robots features numerous improvements and enhancements. Multiple models. The IRB 6700 boasts longer uptime, higher payloads, and a wider working range, suitable for applications such as spot welding, material handling, and machine tending, strengthening ABB's robot portfolio. The IRB 6700 comes in multiple models with payloads ranging from 150 to 300 kg and a reach of 2.6 to 3.2 meters, adaptable to various tasks in the automotive and general industries.
This model has a payload capacity of up to 450 kg and a reach of 3.2 meters. Its most significant feature is a wrist inertia twice that of comparable products, enabling unparalleled high speed when rotating extra-large and heavy products. It is especially suitable for palletizing beverages, building materials, and chemical products. The IRB 760 is manufactured to automotive industry standards, with a rigid structure, reliable design, long uptime, and low maintenance costs. The IRB 760 family is equipped with integrated process cables to reduce wear and extend service life.
The IRB 760 series comes with ABB RoboCare's three-year warranty, including ABB Connected Services, allowing ABB experts to monitor the robot and provide optimization recommendations via advanced services to further improve production efficiency and maintain high overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Offline programming software further improves the robot's return on investment. ABB's RobotStudio offline programming software allows robot programming to be done on a computer in the office without shutting down the production line. RobotStudio enables users to perform training, programming, and optimization tasks without disrupting production, thereby improving the return on investment of the robot system.
Main Applications
• Full-layer palletizing
• Palletizing
• Depalletizing
