In her opening address, Serbian Prime Minister Brnabić stated that Serbia values its strong relationship with China and hopes to use this innovation cooperation conference as an opportunity to deepen cooperation in innovation, artificial intelligence, robotics, and digitalization across the entire Central and Eastern European region.

The Fourth China-Central and Eastern European Countries Innovation Cooperation Conference was held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, on October 8. The two-day conference was attended by 600 representatives and exhibitors from China and 17 Central and Eastern European countries, and 12 cooperation agreements were signed.

It is understood that, Central and Eastern European countries are located in an important region along the Belt and Road, and occupy a significant position among the countries along the route that joined the initiative early on. Unlike the already highly developed Western European countries, Central and Eastern European countries still have great potential for development, and their cooperation with China has strong complementarity. This year April , Greece joined the China-Central and Eastern European Countries cooperation "circle of friends," and the "16+1 cooperation" was officially expanded to "17+1 cooperation". In addition, the combination of China's advantageous production capacity, the development needs of Central and Eastern European countries, and the key technologies of Western European developed countries will help Central and Eastern European countries accelerate their development, expand employment, and promote China's industrial transformation and upgrading at a lower cost, and will also promote balanced development in Europe and accelerate the integration process.

Serbian Prime Minister Brnabić said in her opening remarks that Serbia attaches importance to its good relations with China and hopes to use this innovation cooperation conference to deepen cooperation in innovation, artificial intelligence, robotics, and digitalization throughout the Central and Eastern European region. She pointed out that innovation, R&D, education, digitalization, artificial intelligence and robotics are very important to Serbia. Since January 1 this year, Serbia has been the most competitive country in Europe in terms of investment conditions in the R&D field. Serbia will seize the opportunity of the fourth industrial revolution to bridge the gap with developed countries and achieve rapid socio-economic development.

China will include robots and intelligent manufacturing in its priority areas for national scientific and technological innovation. As a participant and exhibitor at the conference, Nobot industrial robots are willing to strengthen cooperation with Central and Eastern European countries, promote the research and development and industrialization of robot technology, and make robot technology and its products better serve development and benefit humanity.

It is understood that Nobot intelligent equipment is a high-tech enterprise integrating the independent research and development, production, sales and service of industrial robots, intelligent three-dimensional warehouses, and non-standard automated system integration. The company takes industrial robots as its core and customizes safe, efficient and flexible automation solutions according to customer needs. The company has undertaken the Shandong Provincial Multi-joint Industrial Robot Engineering Technology Research Center and established Shandong's first provincial-level industrial robot inspection and testing center.

Wang Zhigang, Minister of Science and Technology of China, said in his speech that scientific and technological innovation cooperation has become a new highlight of cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries. This innovation cooperation conference is the first one held after the development from "16+1" to "17+1," and it will surely further promote the friendly cooperative relationship between China and Central and Eastern European countries.

This conference, through the exhibition areas of Chinese exhibitors and Serbian exhibitors, fully demonstrated the cooperation and exchanges between China and Central and Eastern European countries under the 17+1 framework.

How to use a five-axis machining center efficiently? Today, let's learn a few practical steps!

When using a five-axis machining center, the equipment must first be adjusted to ensure that the workpiece and fixture dimensions precisely match, and that the zero points of each axis are accurately adjusted.

Why do composite materials require 5-axis CNC machining?

Composite materials are widely used in various fields such as aerospace, automotive, construction, energy, energy storage, infrastructure, marine, pipelines and tanks, sports and entertainment, and transportation due to their light weight, high fatigue resistance, and strong fracture resistance. Among them, aerospace and automotive industries are the largest application markets for composite materials. Five-axis CNC plays an important role in the processing of composite materials. Why do composite materials need to be processed using five-axis CNC?

For businesses, when choosing a five-axis machine, should a dual-station or single-station model be selected?

Dual-station five-axis machines offer several significant advantages. First, while one station is being machined, the other can be used for material loading and unloading, ensuring continuous, non-stop machining and significantly improving production efficiency. Second, the dual-station design makes operation more convenient and reduces waiting time. However, dual-station five-axis machines typically cost more than single-station machines and may require more operating and maintenance space.
