We plan to ship and deliver it after the New Year." On January 14, Zhen Shou Le, a research and development engineer at Nobot Intelligent Equipment (Shandong) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Nobot), told reporters. This completed five-axis machining center is mainly used for processing parts of the head of high-speed rail and EMU trains, marking Nobot's official entry into the field of manufacturing core components for rail transit.

As a high-tech enterprise, Nobot continues to increase investment in the research and development of high-end equipment and improve the competitiveness of its core products. Its independently developed five-axis CNC system has broken the long-term monopoly of foreign companies on this technology and achieved substitution of similar foreign products. In recent years, Nobot has been making efforts in the fields of rail transit and aerospace. Previously, its business mainly focused on the processing of accessories for rail transit and aerospace, and it had never entered the field of core component manufacturing. This order is their first order in the field of manufacturing core components for rail transit.

In Nobot's production workshop, the reporter saw that this five-axis machining center, which had passed the pre-acceptance inspection, was much larger than ordinary machine tools, and on it was a sample model for the manufacturer's pre-acceptance inspection. The model is not large, but it has multiple complex curved surfaces. Zhen Shou Le told reporters that this machine tool not only has a large processing range, but more importantly, it has greatly improved processing efficiency and quality. When using three-axis machine tools to manufacture parts, many parts need to be processed and spliced in multiple sections. However, the five-axis machine tool can process various irregularly shaped curved surfaces with a single clamping, saving labor and improving product accuracy. "The production of parts requires at least two mold-making processes, and the error must be very small. The accuracy of our equipment has now reached the high-end level in China and fully meets the technical requirements of the rail transit and aerospace composite material fields." said Zhen Shou Le.

The company's high-end testing equipment is also a hardware guarantee to ensure the core competitiveness of its products. Gao Zhiyong, the company's quality manager, told reporters that Nobot's equipment for testing product accuracy is at the top level in the industry. Many manufacturers still use original processes such as marble and rulers to test products, while Nobot uses laser trackers, which are equivalent to a mobile three-coordinate measuring machine, along with other testing equipment, to assist in the debugging and installation of the five-axis machining center throughout the process, until delivery, ensuring that the product accuracy meets high standards.

It is reported that after the delivery of the equipment in this order, the cooperating manufacturer will continue to cooperate with Nobot to expand Nobot's market in the field of manufacturing core components for rail transit.
