IRB 910INV
The IRB 910INV offers the same leading motion control performance as the original ABB IRB 910 series, ensuring repeatable point-to-point accuracy in pick-and-place, assembly, and testing tasks. This includes small parts assembly in the electronics industry, such as screw tightening, insertion, or component mounting, as well as automated inspection solutions for quality control.

Details Description
ABB launches IRB 910INV robot, further expanding its extensive range of small robots. This series of robots is suitable for fast and precise small-part assembly.

— Inverted SCARA robot can improve flexibility
— Using ABB's excellent motion control technology, it has leading repeat positioning accuracy
— Shorten cycle time, increase output and production efficiency

At the 2018 China International Industry Fair in Shanghai, ABB launched the new IRB 910INV inverted SCARA robot, the latest member of ABB's popular SCARA robot family. By installing the IRB 910INV on the ceiling, manufacturers can improve each work unit's Space efficiency and flexibility , thus completing more complex tasks in limited space. The IRB 910INV can also cooperate with other robots and equipment synchronously within the same footprint, further improving production efficiency.
Sami Atiya, President of ABB's Robotics Business Unit, said: "Since the launch of our SCARA robot series, customers have been very interested in the inverted version, which helps them use limited space more effectively. We are pleased to introduce the new IRB 910INV robot, which offers the flexibility our customers expect, along with ABB's consistently excellent speed and precision."

"The IRB 910INV also embodies the new era design concept we announced earlier this year, which allows us to develop robots in a wider range of sizes and versions and integrate them into customized solutions. Our small-part assembly solutions are constantly expanding, and the IRB 910INV will be an important part of them."

The IRB 910INV has the same leading Motion control performance , ensuring repeatable Point-to-point accuracy , including small-part assembly tasks in the electronics industry, such as tightening screws, inserting or installing components, and automated inspection solutions for quality control.
In the future, IRB910INV will also be available through Clean room Application certification. The compact and lightweight IRB 910INV is available in two models: one with a maximum payload of 3 kg and a working range of 350 mm; the other with a maximum payload of 6 kg and a working range of 550 mm. For fast, precise point-to-point motion applications such as electronics assembly, laboratory automation, and gluing, ABB SCARA robots are the ideal choice for customers.
